Growing up in a small dress factory, Maria watched as her mother developed her own patterns; as a child, Maria thought that sewing machines, fabrics, lace, sequins, and crystal beads were part of everyone's life! It was only natural that Maria ultimately fell in love with this craft. Maria started working for Robert Tonner at Tonner Doll Co. in 1998. Shortly after, Mr. Tonner sent Maria to Parsons School of Design in New York City, N.Y. where she completed a Certificate Program in Fashion Design. Maria worked as a head pattern maker for 18 years. In 2016, she joined the Men's Wearhouse tailoring team before finally deciding to open up her own sewing studio. As a seamstress with decades of experience under her belt, Maria has what it takes to make you look and feel phenomenal, in whatever you choose to wear!
